A bit about Tracey...
Tracey, formerly known for her work as the author of The Book of Rubbish Ideas, has long been a dedicated advocate for sustainability and waste reduction. Her early work focused on practical ways to minimise household waste and adopt eco-friendly habits, gaining her recognition as a pioneering voice in the environmental movement.
As co-founder of Word Forest, Tracey continues her mission to protect the planet through reforestation and promoting sustainable living. She works with communities in the UK and Kenya, encouraging tree planting and eco-conscious practices.
In 2016, her passion for sustainability deepened when she transitioned to a plant-based lifestyle, recognising the environmental toll of animal agriculture. As an environmentalist, author, and journalist, Tracey advocates for veganism, renewable energy, and waste reduction, inspiring others to embrace a more sustainable way of life.
